Custom Skis

1. One rebuild per pair. A different size, model, or look. If look is the only change, skis must be unmounted. The second pair is final. The goal is the right ski.
2. Mount and ski them. Only one way to find out if they are the right ski. Most people know inside a few ski days. If the size or model isn't right, apply for the rebuild. You'll know if you like the looks out of the wrapper, so if you don't like the appearance, apply for a rebuild right away.
3. Eligible custom skis. Full price Customs, Annual Custom Sale, and Black Friday Custom orders. Not eligible: stock skis, proform, In Stock Customs, Factory Finds, or blems.
4. Rebuild window. Determined by the day your skis ship. We build custom skis year round, so a summer order still gets a real shot once the season starts.
   • In season - Ships November 15 - March 31: 60 days from the ship date.
   • Out of season - Ships April 1 - November 14: through January 15 of the following year.
   Submit the request within your rebuild window. Once approved, the return must receive its first carrier acceptance scan within 10 calendar days.
5. Condition review. Every ski is reviewed before a rebuild is approved - photos first, then again when they arrive. The standard, and every way a rebuild can end, is in Condition review below.
6. US orders only. The logistics and cost of shipping, importing, and exporting make the rebuild only viable on US orders.

Know out of the wrapper? Send them back before you drill. If the graphics are wrong, or the size or model is obviously wrong when you unbox them, don't mount them. Return them unmounted inside your window and we cover shipping both ways.

Need to ski them to know? Ski them. Size and model changes still qualify after skiing; return shipping is $35 to $60 and the new pair ships back free.

If you've already mounted:

Mounting, binding removal, and mounting the replacement pair are the customer's responsibility.

A rebuild, not a damage replacement. If your order is eligible, the request is on time, and the skis meet our condition standards, the rebuild is approved. We want you to use these skis - base scrapes and cosmetic topsheet damage are fine. Beyond the acceptable damage, the rebuild may be declined. All applicants must complete a request form, with photos included.

Your mental test: if we would have to repair the ski before selling it, the rebuild is out.

• Damage past the test above. Base damage requiring a weld, significant edge or sidewall impacts, and anything else we would have to fix before the ski could sell.
• Edge damage past a belt tune. That's the standard edge tune in any ski shop. Burrs and rough spots from rails, ice, and general use tune out. Bent, cracked, or dented edges requiring a repair end the rebuild.
• A second mount. One set of holes. Questions on the mounting location? Call us.

01 - Rebuild request. Fill out a rebuild request form, including photos. Leave your bindings on for the review (they will be removed before you ship). Take the photos when you apply - please ensure they accurately represent the skis' current condition. We will respond to rebuild requests by email within 5 business days. We'll reach out to talk through replacement options to ensure the second pair is correct - and then confirm the new build by email.

02 - Ski return. Once approved, a shipping label arrives by email, with an invoice if you owe a return fee. The return must receive its first carrier acceptance scan within 10 calendar days. Bindings must be removed before they ship. When the skis arrive, we confirm their condition matches your photos. If it doesn't, we'll contact you before proceeding further. If a rebuild is declined at any stage, the skis come back to you and the shipping is on us.

03 - Ski replacement. We'll confirm your rebuild by email. All custom skis are made to order and subject to the normal manufacturing lead times. Demand varies seasonally - current estimated build time is 40 days. We start the manufacturing process at the first carrier acceptance scan - we want you to have as little downtime as possible. Upon completion, tracking information will be sent out by email.

What you can change

Change your ski length, ski model, or ski look (or any combination). If look is the only change, skis must be unmounted. The second pair is built at the same price point as the original order. All paid upgrades on the original pair carry over at no charge; new upgrades can be added at cost. Moving to a cheaper build doesn't refund the difference.

A rebuild, not a return

No store credit, no refunds.

Cancelling an order

Cancel your custom order any time before your skis ship for a full refund. Once your first pair ships the order is final.

Rebuild window

Ships November 15 - March 31: 60 days from the ship date. Ships April 1 - November 14: through January 15 of the following year. We'll send your exact date when your order ships. Dates are firm.

If we decline

We send the skis back and we cover the shipping.

Warranty

Same two-year warranty - the clock resets when the rebuild ships.

Which terms apply

These terms are effective June 1, 2026. The version in effect the day you order is the one that governs your pair. If we change them, the change applies only to orders placed after the new effective date.

Yes. Same line, same presses, same builders, same factory. The LITE, 50/50, and Tour layups change materials and give up some durability; the tradeoffs are on each upgrade card above.

Custom skis start at $1,099, including your model, size, rocker, topsheet, and base. Additional upgrades are available a la carte.

Yes, any time before they ship, for a full refund. After that the order is final.

Call, email, or schedule a fit check. Our lengths are 5cm apart, so two sizes often work for the same skier. And every eligible custom carries one rebuild, so if the first pair is the wrong size you can fix it.

The current estimated time from order to shipment is 40 days. Seasonal demand may affect this estimate.

Custom skis carry the same two-year warranty as every ON3P, covering material and manufacturing defects. If you use a rebuild, the two-year period restarts when the replacement ships. Review the full warranty terms.

We can mount bindings for local customers who buy skis and bindings together. We need your boots and liability release. All other orders ship unmounted and must be mounted by a qualified shop.

We say they run true. One of the reasons ON3P exists is a pair of custom skis that came in well short of its listed length. We measure our skis true length tip to tail; most brands measure the flat base length before pressing. Typically that means our skis will run 2-3cm longer than other brands in the same listed length.

Custom Skis (this page): any model, length, rocker, topsheet, and base for $1,099, with upgrades a la carte.

Custom Shape: a shape and flex profile designed to your spec, pressed in one of our existing molds, from $2,499; add a custom graphic for $500.

Full Custom: a ground-up build with its own mold, shape, and graphic, starting at $4,999.
